At the 15th Annual Trilateral meeting this week in Halifax, Nova Scotia, PIF's (our) Tri-National Vision document was released, capping about 2 years of intensive work by PIF Science Committee.  This 3rd version of the continental plan is truly continental this time, including an assessment of Mexican species along with US and Canada.  It is not only beautiful, it is compelling, highly accessible, and sets a high bar for these sorts of publications.  A one-page overview is attached, it is fully described on the website (http://www.partnersinflight.org/), and printed copies should be available at most PIF meetings.  This magnificent assessment of our shared birds gives us all guidance and articulates the need for urgency to continue our monitoring and conservation efforts, and to expand our WWG tri-national efforts.
